Sherman Oaks Teapot Workshop June 20th from 2pm-5pm
This three hour workshop led by Nhut Le will take students through the complete process of creating a teapot. Advanced beginner throwing skills are required.
First, we'll do a rough sketch of whatever style of teapot you'd like, so be sure to bring a notebook or small sketch pad.
Then we'll throw the body. While it's drying we'll throw the lid, spout, and pull handles.
As each piece dries, we'll trim and slowly assemble for a complete teapot.
At the end, we'll go over the glazing process to complete your very own teapot.
