Keep running into the same issues when glazing? Then this workshop is for you!
This workshop is designed with all levels in mind though the focus is on helping members and returning students looking refine their glaze-testing skills to get glaze results they can duplicate. Folks are welcome to use their own clay, the instructor demonstrate with class clay.
Glaze Testing Workshop July 13th Sherman Oaks 10am-12pm
It's recommended that students bring some bisqued pieces and/or test tiles, but not required!
The instructor will go over several glazing techniques including the following:
- How to know which type of test tiles fit your needs
- Throwing and extruding test tiles
- Practicing glazing techniques
- Demo on how to layer glazes

Demo on to glaze a large bowl
Participants may also bring the following
- Personal Paint brushes
- Personal Underglazes
Studio will provide:
- Glazes
- Wax
- Tape
- Extruded Test Tiles
