Workshop: Throwing Large Pots - Sunday September 28th, 10am-2pm
Let's throw some bigger pieces! This workshop with long time member Asa Kalish will provide in-depth exploration of the technical and creative processes behind building large pots, from centering larger amounts of clay to structural stability and finishing.
This is a 4 hour workshop best designed for folks with intermediate to advanced throwing skills. We will be throwing 10+ lbs. To get the most out of your workshop you will want to feel comfortable throwing and centering at least 3 lbs of clay.
One bag of clay will be included in the workshop price. Please note workshops are also subject to our cancellation policies (we require 48 hours in advance to cancel for a refund).
