Your first class will start on the first Wednesday of the month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Classes are then held on Wednesdays for four sessions total. Students are welcome to practice from 10am-10pm daily at the studio. One bag of clay is provided per student, with additional available for purchase.
This class will go over the basics of wheel throwing in a way that is an overview for a total beginner to jump in, as well as students who've taken a class or two. This class could also be a good fit if you are an intermediate or advanced student who is looking to have some review / refresh or access to an instructor while you work.
This will be a modified class so that we are keeping within safe social distancing guidelines. There will be spacing between work stations, and no contact during the class. It will rely on visual demonstrations, and individual verbal coaching and assistance. Basic tools are provided, but a beginner kit of tools (available in our shop) is recommended. We ask all students wear a face covering or mask while on the premises, as will our instructor. We recommend you bring your own personal towel for handwashing and drying and sanitizing materials.
Class size will be limited.
Note: By registering for your class online, we ask you read and understand our cancellation or reschedule policies here.
