Our one day class is a great way to just get to know clay, experiment with handbuilding and try your hand at the wheel. If you are interested in seeing if you want to do a full month of classes but not sure which one, this would be the way to start.
Each class will do a handbuilding project and then show the basics of the wheel. The handbuilding project will be unglazed but can be decorated with underglazes, slips or carved. It will be fired and available for pick up up later. The focus won't be the full process of the wheel, but if a piece is made on the wheel that you want to save, we will show you how to minimally finish it off and then how to get the full process in one of our 4-week sessions.
